Manchu Vishnu is hoping for a big hit after a long time. The actor has tasted back to back failures in
the past and has pinned all the hopes on his current movie Achari America Yatra.
The film is directed by the comedy entertainers specialist Nageswara Reddy who earlier teamed up with Vishnu for the films like Dhenikaina Ready and Eedo Rakam Aado Rakam. The movie has a lot of comedy from Vishnu and Bramhanandam. Pragya Jaiswal is playing the heroine in the film. The maximum portion of the film was shot in the USA. S S Thaman is the music director of the film. After multiple postponements, the movie finally released in the theatres today. Check out the review of the film here.
Krishnamachary (Manchu Vishnu) and his Guru (Brahmanandam) escapes to the USA from a Don in India. After reaching USA, Krishnamachary falls in love with Renuka (Pragya Jaiswal). When life appears smooth for them, the don from India comes to the USA. What happens then is going to be interesting and it forms the crux of the story.
Manchu Vishnu has played a similar kind of role in the past. Yet again, he has portrayed his part very well and impressed one and all. Brahmanandam also played his part very well in the film and impressed everyone. His comedy is entertaining but what he does is routine.
Pragya Jaiswal appears beautiful but she does not have the required scope for performance in the movie. The comedy from the actors like Prabhas Srinu, Posani Krishna Murali and Prudhvi is decent. The other actors like Surekha Vani, Pradeep Singh Rawat, Thakur Anoop Singh and others are good in their limited roles and made their presence felt.
The cinematography of the movie is decent. The editing by M R Varma is okay. The music by S S Thaman is pleasant and all the songs have come out well in the movie. The picturisation of the songs is neat. The background score of the movie is also impressive. Both the camera work and the music is in sync with the flow. The production values of Padmaja Pictures are lavish.
Amidst huge expectations, Manchu Vishnu’s Achari America Yatra has released today. The audience has thought G. Nageswara Reddy and writer Malladi Venkata Krishna Murthy combination will definitely reach the expectations, but it highly disappointed the audience. The film has a silly plot with logicless scenes and not even a single dialogue impressed the audiences.
The film has a poor screenplay and is full of boring scenes from beginning to end, which disappoints the audience. Even comedian Prudhvi’s track in the second film failed to rescue the film. The storyline of the second half, which is all about a family head to Kasi to immerse ashes is not at all interesting. On a whole, it is a highly disappointing film in all segments.
