The chief minister of Andhra Pradesh Chandrababu Naidu is currently in Delhi. He is hosting a Dharma Porata Deeksha against the NDA government, demanding special category status for Andhra Pradesh.
Interestingly, the opposition parties, YCP and Janasena managed to create an impression that public funds were being unnecessarily wasted by the TDP government. They are claiming that a total of 10 crores is being spent on this Deeksha.
The big question here is, Will Delhi Deeksha help TDP in AP?
In social media, not much attention is being paid to the Deeksha, at least in a positive way though. It all comes down to the way the common public recieve it.
With elections around the corner, the onus is on TDP to erase the anti-incumbency and they are trying their best to do the same.
