TRS activists oppose ticket to Rajaiah

Demanding Station Ghanpur ticket for either Deputy Chief Minister Kadiyam Srihari or to his daughter Kavya, the TRS activists laid siege to Circuit House here on Saturday. It may be noted here that TRS chief K Chandrasekhar Rao retained the sitting MLA Thatikonda Rajaiah to contest again from Station Ghanpur constituency.

Already the supporters of another aspirant Rajarapu Prathap have been staging dharnas in the constituency in protest against the candidature of Rajaiah.

Against this backdrop, a large number of TRS activists, who laid siege to the Circuit House in which Srihari was conducting a meeting, demanded the party functionaries to cancel the ticket given to Rajaiah and allot it to Srihari or his daughter Kavya.
